Firstly, this book is written by an Australian author, so of course I had to pick it up! Although I was not really sure what to expect. I really enjoyed this book, it was so much fun. Being an Indian I could very much relate to the Sri Lankan culture, so that made it all the more enjoyable.
The book is about Shani, she has her dream job and loves her life but there is one downfall she is 32 and single. Through some alignment of the stars and horoscopes basically anything you want to call it, her horoscope reveals that now is the perfect time for her to get married, alas this is where her mother steps in. We follow Shani as she is forced to find the perfect man while trying to cope with, well, life.
I really have no clue how else to explain this book, so much goes on, so many lessons are learnt. I just love this book.
